Shawn Terenzi's Academy of Dance has been serving the Lawrence and surrounding communities for 20 years! We provide structured learning in a supportive atmosphere. Shawn has been in the dance field for over 30 years. He has danced professionally at Busch Gardens and also toured the world dancing on cruise ships. Shawn has been in the dance field for over 30 years. He has danced professionally at Busch Gardens and also toured the world dancing on cruise ships. Shawn has received many high score and special awards for his choreography. He has also judged competitions and scholarship programs for many organizations. Shawn is the Treasurer, Membership Chair, Performing Arts Competition Director, Delegate, and Past President for Dance Masters of New England. Shawn is currently the National 2nd Vice President for Dance Masters of America and is a National Examiner in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acro, and Modern. He also serves as a Conference Administrator for Rhee Gold's DanceLife Teacher Conference. Shawn is very excited to share his love for the arts with your child.
Eladia started dancing at STAD when she was 8 years old. She danced at STAD for 10 years before going to Dean College where she received a Bachelors in Dance. Eladia has performed with SimonWill Entertainment in their Michael Jackson Tribute Show and has also performed with Canobie Lake's Critters Live Shows and was the dance captain. Eladia has a great love and passion for dance and is incredibly happy to be teaching where she has grown up making so many friends that she considers her dance family.
Saul started dancing at STAD in 2005. He has studied in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Acro/Gymnastics. During his time at STAD, Saul competed in competitions winning numerous Gold Medals and high score awards. Saul has also worked in the Entertainment Department at Canobie Lake Park and has taught classes in California. Saul is excited to be back teaching his 2nd year at STAD

Some of her students have also opened up their very own studios, so they too can share their love and passion for dance. Tina is looking forward to doing the same for many more and can’t wait to instill the love of dance to a new generation.
Beatriz started to dance at a young age. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts of Lowell with a major in psychology. Beatriz has taught and choreographed for the 21st Century Community Day Care and Latchkey Programs. She has choreographed children performances for over 6 years which included Hip Hop, Bachata, Merengue and Sal

She has choreographed children performances for over 6 years which included Hip Hop, Bachata, Merengue and Salsa. Beatriz has also participated in community festivals which included the Puerto Rican and Dominican festival. Beatriz lives and breathes dance and is eager to share her craft with future generations.

Jason has judged and taught for several dance organizations throughout New England. Jason is pleased to be sharing his love of dance, and strives to help students exceed to their potential.
Tanya has been dancing since the age of 3 and has been in the dance world for over 30 years. She has competed in all forms of dance including tap, ballet, jazz, and lyrical. After she graduated high school, she went on to teaching and sharing her love of dance with kids of all ages and helping them grow into dancers they are today.
Jonathan is a graduate from Framingham State University. While he was there, he managed to follow his passion by becoming a leader and choreographer for students in the Framingham State Dance Club. Jonathan is a graduate from Framingham State University. While he was there, he managed to follow his passion by becoming a leader and choreographer for students in the Framingham State Dance Club. After graduation, Jonathan started choreographing for Dance2Save, a non-profit organization, raising money for other non-profits. He takes pride in the advancements of his students as both dancers and leaders of their communities. He is a firm believer that dance can save lives, not only as something to do but as a way of life through movement.
